VARIETAL INFORMATION: This shy-bearing Vignoles (veen' yole) grape has become the jewel of Missouri white wines. The difficult-to-grow variety achieves its richest complexities in the warm and sunny vineyards of Missouri.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Harvested late August, 2018; Alcohol - 13.0%
TASTING INFORMATION: Stone Hill's Vignoles exudes rich, fresh tropical fruit flavors and aromas. We stop the fermentation at just the right moment to achieve the perfect balance of natural sweetness. It’s a fine accompaniment for spicy foods such as Asian and Mexican dishes. You’ll also enjoy sipping it by itself or with desserts such as fresh fruit or raspberry cheesecake. (750 ml)

Stone Hill Winery Vignoles has been one of my favorite wines since I discovered it over 20 years ago on a trip to Branson. Since then my husband and I have visited the winery in Hermann a couple of times, and I've ordered online--always a case at a time. They are very careful with packaging, and we've never had a broken bottle.
