Norton at it's best
From Tim of Whitney, Texas on 8/26/2014.
This is possibly the best wine I've ever tasted.. Already aged for more than ten years.. Not to much oak.. You can taste they fruit and VERY smooth for a dry red.. I wish I lived closer to Hermann so I could enjoy this more often.. I've purchased the Cross J a number of times but have never had one more than ten years old.. It is also very good and the reason I tried the Old Vine Reserve.. Maybe if I let the Cross J age it would be as good.. but.. I do not have a cellar..When the wine is this good it does not last long in my house!!

This wine would compete with the very best

This is as good as it gets in Missouri. It has aged well - the tannins are soft - lots of nice fruit. I'm a believer.
